Mr. Li Tianyi is the co-founder and CEO of Wodingche.com
, China's first professional online car rental platform. Founded in 2009 by four partners, Wodingche.com received angel funding in 2009 and VC funding from Silicon Valley based DFJ in 2012.
During the past four years, Wodingche.com developed strategic alliances with over 1500 global and local car rental companies in more than 200 Chinese cities. Through these partnerships they provide a one-stop selection of over 400 vehicles, ranging from budget compacts to luxury sedans.
Between 1994 and 2009, Tianyi worked in the European financial and IT sectors for Normura Securities, KPMG Consulting, Standard Chartered Bank, IBM, Nuon, British Airways, MCI Worldcom, and Oracle. His deep financial and IT background has enabled him to lead Wodingche.com to the forefront of China's emerging car rental industry.

Erik manages the Shanghai office of The Applied Value Group, a professional services and investment group, and support Startup Grind as director of the Shanghai chapter. Applied Value is strategic management consultancy with a focus on cost reduction, complemented by a merger and acquisition advisory and management training expertise. They combine the in-depth expertise of a global advisor with the focus, attention, and flexibility of a boutique consulting firm.
Albert Young, Shanghai Chapter Co-Director
Albert graduated from UCLA with a degree in East Asian Studies, specializing in globalization and the continually changing dynamics between Western and Eastern cultures. He is a real estate professional who specializes in working with high net worth individuals, and specifically those in China looking to acquire real estate and immigration in the U.S. He is one of the co-founders of CathayWealth.com and is currently pursuing new Startup ventures in Edutech and Real Estate technology.
Mia Sun, Shanghai Chapter Co-Director
Guang Qin Sun (Mia) graduated from University of Macau and Erasmus University Rotterdam with a Master degree in Finance. Mia used to work in a boutique corporate finance firm in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, serving Chinese overseas investments. Currently Mia is working in the investment banking industry in Shanghai, and is focusing on the Chinese outbound mergers & acquisitions for Chinese state-owned enterprises and private companies. In Mia's day to day work, she has been connected with various PEs, VCs, as well as successful Chinese entrepreneurs.
